Update: 3:32PM PEOPLE have the opportunity to own their first home through BSP bank's home-buyer promotion that was relaunched last Thursday.

A statement from BSP today said its home-buyer promotion for home loan customers offered great rates for home loan customers with 3.95 per cent per annum fixed for six months, 4.5 per cent per annum fixed for 12 months and a variable interest rate of 6.25 per cent per annum.

The offer is valid for a limited time only and comes with additional benefits for customers, including free fixed rate roll over which enables customers to switch from a six-month to a 12-month fixed rate for free.

Other benefits also include a $250 discount on legal fees and a 50 per cent discount on establishment fees.

BSP acting Country Manager Ravindra Singh said the Bank had a dedicated in-house documentation team to assist first time home buyers with accessing the Government Grant Scheme to boost their initial contribution for a home loan.

"We have helped many first home buyers gain access to either $10,000 or $5000, for constructing a home or purchasing a home," Mr Singh said.

"We understand the struggles faced by hardworking individuals and couples who dream of one day owning their own home.  This promotion is for them."

To apply for a BSP Easy Home Loan, applicants must present a recent payslip and an employment confirmation letter to assess their housing loan eligibility.
