HAMILTON 7s: Fiji crowned Hamilton 7s champs

Update: 7:44PM FIJI Airways 7s team defeated South Africa 24 -17 to win the inaugural Hamilton 7s in New Zealand a while ago.

Alosio Naduva was the man of moment, walking away with the player of the cup final after scoring three tries in the final.

The only other try scorer that sealed Fiji's win was winger Eroni Sau who scored in the last minute of the second half.

Branco Preez and Kwagga Smith scored for South Africa.

Fiji has now moved up to third place in the ranking.

South Africa still leads the tally.
