Namadi Heights robbery suspects to front court tomorrow

Update: 1:31PM FOUR men are in police custody and will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court tomorrow charged for allegedly stealing assorted items from seven different homes in the Namadi Heights area.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the four are a 35-year-old taxi driver who is alleged to have been transporting the three suspects two of whom are aged 19 and one aged 18-years-old. 

"The four were intercepted by the Southern Division taskforce team early Thursday morning," Ms Naisoro said.

"All four have been charged with one count theft and one count of criminal intimidation," she said.
