HAMILTON 7s: Fiji to cut cards

MAIKELI SERU in Hamilton, New Zealand
Saturday, February 03, 2018

Update: 4:12PM FIJI Airways 7s coach Gareth Baber has warned our national reps to be cautious in their play in the Hamilton 7s in New Zealand this weekend.

The warning came after Fiji copped two yellow cards in the match against Spain before we won 24-12 to qualify for the quarter-finals tomorrow.

"I spoke to them during halftime to be careful, but in rugby these kinds of situations are unavoidable and we have to be careful," he said.

"We are happy that we have qualified and we will will continue with our aim to win the tournament."

Fiji scored through Eroni Sau, Jerry Tuwa, Alosio Naduva and susbtitute Amenoni Nasilasila.

Fiji meets Australia in the last pool match.
