New U16 football league starts

THE Vodafone under-16 football league season starts this weekend with matches scheduled in the southern, western and northern divisions.

Three matches have been scheduled at the Fiji Football Association Academy ground in Vatuwaqa while a lone Western Division has been scheduled for Tagitagi Sangam Primary School grounds between Tavua and Ba.

Two matches will be played in Vanua Levu today, Dreketi battles Labasa and this is set to be the curtain-raiser event for their senior teams who clash at 1.30pm at Subrail Park.

Meanwhile Vodafone women's league also continues with a match scheduled in Tavua and two in the Northern Division.
