ATTORNEY-GENERAL and Minister for Education Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum reiterated to students of Gospel High School the importance of humility, honesty and diligence.

While officiating at the school's prefects induction ceremony yesterday, Mr Sayed-Khaiyum reminded student leaders the importance of their role.

"You are not there to oppose, but you are actually there to apply to a particular regulation/policy that your school has set," he said.

"Your clients, the people you deliver the service to, are the rest of the school, the rest of the students, so you need to work in collaboration with them."

Meanwhile, numerous primary and secondary schools around the country also had their prefects induction ceremony yesterday.
