FOR most of us, going to the hospital or being referred to the hospital means you are very sick.

Beachcomber heard of this particular outgoing larger than life human who had sprained his toe while trying to showcase his dancing skills.

As it didn't heal in a few days, Viliame was referred to the main hospital to have his toe X-rayed.

He was told to change into the white gown and he was more shocked to know his chest and other parts of his body would also be X-rayed.

"Am I dying? I only sprained my toe," he asked the radiographer, who tried to assure him that it was what the doctors wanted.

Halfway through, a doctor peeps into the room and says, "I've got Viliame from the ward".

Radiographer replies, "I already have him."

Puzzled, the doctor says, "But I have just come with him myself from the ward and he is here."

Radiographer turns to Viliame in front of him, "Are you Viliame?"

He replied, "Yes, I am Viliame .........."

Of course, it was a case of mistaken identity. But sprained-toe Viliame was more relieved that he was "not very sick".

With the many Viliames, Williams, Seras and Marys, Beachcomber advises people to always verify things!
