Update: 12:57PM THIRTY ONE members of the community make up the National Federation Party's candidates from the National General Elections.

Party Leader Professor Biman Prasad and Party President Pio Tikoduadua made the announcement earlier today and said the party's candidates were "not ordinary people."

"No one in our team is. They have stepped forward, ready, willing and able to serve you. I am proud to present them to you," Professor  Prasad. 

Urging the public to get to know the candidates, the NFP leader reminded the public the candidates have to get through the formal election processes and have provisional statuses until then.
