Police reward teenager and taxi driver

Update: 12:27PM FIJI'S Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho this morning commended the efforts of a 14-year-old boy and the management of Tiko Kece Taxis in preventing crimes in their neighbourhood.

In handing their commendation certificates and their cash rewards, Brig-Gen Qiliho thanked young Misa Cakacaka for braving the odds and stopping an aggravated burglary from happening at a car wash in Tacirua on January 5 this year.

Brig-Gen Qiliho also thanked taxi driver Sisa Kanaveilomani and the business management for the role played in helping Police apprehend the 22-year-old man who had hit a young girl at Tacirua last December.
