Update: 12:20PM ABOUT 30 people showed up today at the University of the South Pacific for consultations on the Fiji Road Authority's Suva Arterial Road Upgrade Project (SARUP 2).

FRA has proposed to rehabilitate and upgrade 20 sections of existing sealed roads in Suva compromising approximately 17.756km.

There are also plans for small sections of road widening within the road reserve and footpath installation at selected sites.

SCOPE Pacific carried out the public consultations because they have been commissioned by the FRA to carry out the environmental assessment and social safeguards assessment for SARUP2.
