Marist 7s committee focuses on registration

Update: 11:56AM THE 42nd edition of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament will be held at the ANZ Stadium on March 23-24 with a prize money of $42,000 up for grabs.

The focus right now is the team registration and top line tournament details and selling of the tournament.

Marist Rugby Club president Lawrence Tikaram said that was the focus for the next three weeks.

"Phase two tournament will include details proper, team expectation and manager's expectation, facilities and services provided to teams at the tournament by Marist Rugby Club," he said.

"This year, we have 16 pools of men's at four team per pool or total of 64 men's teams and four pools of three women's team per pool, to make 12 women's teams to make the two-day tournament."

Registrations close at the end of this month.
