Maikeli Seru In Hamilton, New Zealand
Friday, February 02, 2018

Ayush Goundar was yesterday the happiest student of Woodstock Primary School in Hamilton, New Zealand.

Being the only Fijian in his Year 6 class, Ayush was proud that his country's team visited his school.

"Please come to my home tonight for dinner. My mom will cook you curry," he told the players during the visitation.

"I am very, very happy because these guys are Fijians and they are from my country. I was at home in December to celebrate Christmas," he told his friends.

He is from Rakiraki and his parents are Parmesh, a motor mechanic and Krishma who is from Suva, works at the hospital.

The team, meanwhile, will resume training today after a day's rest yesterday.
