FIJIAN Seta Tamanivalu is set to leave the Crusaders side after the 2018 Super Rugby season.

This comes as French club Bordeaux Begles announced yesterday that the All Blacks centre has signed a three-year deal with them and that the former Lelean Memorial School student would arrive in France on November 1, 2018.

Tamanivalu, 26, will become the sixth Fijian player in the Bordeaux squad which already includes Metuisela Talebula, Ben Volavola, Peni Ravai, Kitione Kamikamica and Apisai Naqaliva.

The tough centre was part of the Crusaders outfit which won the 2017 Super Rugby title. Earlier in 2016 he was part of the Chiefs' squad. He also featured for the New Zealand All Blacks side. Tamanivalu joins the other NZ players such as Chiefs duo Liam Messam (Toulon) and Charlie Ngatai (Lyon) and Blues midfielder George Moala (Clermont) who will also be joining French clubs after the Super Rugby season.
