Man remanded by court

A man charged for his alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery case at Dignified Cremation Ltd in Davuilevu, Nausori, has been further remanded as investigations continued.

Rusiate Rokobulou, 27, appeared before Magistrate Charles Ratakele at the Nasinu Magistrates Court yesterday.

He is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, one count of damaging property and one count of theft.

The alleged incident took place on January 24.

It is alleged Mr Rokobulou, with others, entered the property of Dignified Cremation Ltd as a trespasser and willfully and unlawfully damaged a glass worth $500 and stole assorted items valued at $4978.

The case has been adjourned to February 5.
