NATADOLA'S InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa has revamped its experience for Chinese guests ahead of the Chinese Lunar New Year later this month.

Andrew Davidson, the area general manager South Pacific, said the resort continued to implement many thoughtful, culturally-sensitive enhancements to enrich the Chinese guests experience.

"Some enhancements to make our guests feel more at home include increased Chinese menu offerings across our dining outlets, additional Chinese television stations, as well as a more comprehensive Chinese welcome pack to Chinese guests arriving," he said.

"We are also very excited to have recently welcomed our Mandarin speaking guest services agent Wen Chon Hi or 'Shandy'.

"Shandy is fluent in both Mandarin and English and is a welcomed addition to our team as she adds another dimension of exceptional service that we know will be appreciated by our Chinese guests."

He said staff members of the resort were also trained to understand Chinese cultural values and traditions in order to anticipate service needs.

The Chinese new year will be celebrated on February 16.
