Thursday, February 01, 2018

Update: 5:20PM A MEMORANDUM of Understanding signed between Housing Authority and Fiji National University this afternoon has now allowed the Housing Authority to provide hands-on learning experience to students.

The MOU will enhance student development from the College of Engineering, Science & Technology (CEST) with the opportunity to participate in industrial practical attachment in specific areas of engineering works.

FNU vice chancellor Professor Nigel Healey said CEST had taken the mission of inclusive industrial partnership to ensure workplace attachment for its students.

"The University's core business is to provide Fiji and the Pacific´┐Żs human resource needs by delivering the highest quality and standards of teaching and training, and this can only be achieved by ensuring that graduates have the right knowledge, skills, are creative, innovative and have the necessary attributes for life," Prof Healey said.
