EVERY once in a while, you will need a break to relax and unwind from those four corners of your office.

After all, don't you deserve one?

If adventure breaks, music festivals and road trips take your fancy, then you're in the right place. Plan and treat yourself for that long overdue trip, pack your bags and hit the road!

What better way to be mesmerised with nature and amazing activities then to visit the western parts of Viti Levu! Trust me when I say this, there is something for everyone to do!

Website www.fiji.travel.com reports Nadi's main street is the centre of action with plenty of shopping and the latest Hindi or Fijian music playing from almost every storefront.

"With its wide range of quality accommodation and close proximity to Denarau Island, Nadi is an ideal base before you head out to explore the rest of Fiji," the website said. Nadi Town was established in 1947 as a "government station" on the higher grounds of Nadi, and established itself as Fiji's tourist hub in the 1960s. There are several affordable hotels along the main road between the airport and downtown, most of which offer complementary shuttles from and to the airport. However, if you're itching for the beach, then head to laid-back Wailoaloa or the luxurious Denarau Island awaits.

The website says that as a major tourist hub, Nadi offers a wide range of places to eat and drink.

"You'll find a mix of traditional Fijian, Indian, Chinese and Western dishes, and a vast array of affordable eateries downtown." Below are some activities from website www.lonelyplanet.com.
