THE Salad Bowl Netball Club will compete in the 2018 Gold Coast tournament in Australia in April.

Club president Judy Kumar said the club looked to select a young team for the 2018 season.

"Salad Bowl Netball Club will be out to select new officials and committee for 2018 season," Kumar said in a press release.

"I am looking forward to the young team.

"We will be taking part in the 2018 Gold Coast tournament in Australia from April 18-26."

Kumar was urging the Naroga and Navosa fans in Gold Coast, Australia to support the team.

"This is the first tour for the club since the formation of the club in 2010. The clubs have players like Episaki Kahatoka, Ivamere Soko, Elenoa Vatureba, Anareta Natoba and more young talents who can do more better this year," Kumar said.

"Most of the players are from Nadroga Navosa and also we have some invitational players keen to join the club.

"We have players from 16 to 21 years of age in our club. This year we are looking at the first international tour in April and we urge business houses to support this team as most of them are students and from the interior of Navosa."
