Floatsam and Jetsam

The Editor
Thursday, February 01, 2018

IT was a typical Monday morning, when a group of workmates went for their usual morning tea.

The group was baffled by the silence of the rather talkative one of the lot.

They then thought it was part of his many New Year resolutions to cut down on his loud personality.

As they were about to partake in the spread, the "silent one" slowly related the story of his morning silence to the group, which of course ended in laughter.

Beachcomber heard that this fella slept over at someone else's place over the weekend and did not take any toiletries with him.

Not even a toothbrush.

Now we all know why he was too quiet that morning.

It goes without saying that it pays to be prepared these days after days of hard work and nights of hard partying.

Sigh!
