WARWICK Fiji staff members and guests celebrated Australia Day at the resort last Thursday.

Resort general manager Charles Homsy said over the past 40 years, Warwick Fiji received more than one million Australians who had stayed at the resort.

"And we value their sense of humour, their contributions and the staff members join me in wishing them happy Australia Day. We are very close to our Australian friends and they have contributed a lot to the communities here in country," Mr Homsy said.

The day started with the Fiji Police Constable from Korolevu raising the Australian flag, followed by the Australian National Anthem, which was sung by staff members and guests.
