FLOTSAM AND JETSAM

A REGULAR contributor from the West had a rather amusing take on the mating season for canines.

A few days ago, Desmond Jones was seen in Kara Punja Rd with the Waiyavi canine choir, he starts.

I don't know what voice he was singing.

Anyway, when I called him he said: "Bark, bark, bark, yip, yip, yip, growl."

I googled it and found he said, "Leave me alone, I'm going to choir practice."

I guess he was having an affair, well it's that time of the year.

Meanwhile, Mrs Molly Jones sat looking sadly.

I told Mr Jones to come and pack his bags and move out.

He did. The other morning he came slinking back, skinny as a rake. I stared at him and he winked and pointed to his food bowl.

He was hungry after being away for one week. Mrs Jones meowed and spat at him.

Damn, the animals are having a family tiff.

I don't want to get involved.
