'Moana' outstanding achievement at music awards

Update: 11:47AM THE animated, Polynesian film Moana was recognised at the 60th Grammy Awards for its standout song 'How Far I'll Go', that won the Best Song Written for Visual Media award.

'How Far I'll Go', produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda was the number one recorded music on the New Zealand Heatseekers and peaked at top 55 on the UK single and US Billboard's Hot 100.

 The song was nominated the Best Original Song for several awards including the 22nd Critics Award, 74th Golden Globe Awards, 89th Academy Awards and the 10th Houston Film Critics Society.
