Inky, pinky, ponky

Donald Singh, Lautoka

While most are putting up their best faces and pretending to be supporting Gareth Baber, I'd stick to my guns and call for his ousting as he is now effectively turning our 7s team into mediocre.

OK, we have new players. But then Fijian players are never new sevens players.

Their talent need to be harnessed and they are like parts that only a capable coach can assemble to make a team, an engine. Alas!

Playing "inky pinky" with something that they said unites a country is not to be tolerated.

Ben Ryan's gone and will never return to coaching Fiji. He is currently enjoying his punditry and ambassadorship along with some French consultation work.

Whatever happened to Ben's understudy? If there was none, then we still have Naca.

I bet any local coach would do a better job than Baber. Wonder what we are waiting for.

If we as a larger sample of the fans, are content with Baber, then I rest my case as I become a minority.

This game of "inky pinky ponky" may continue and result in humiliation at the Commonwealth Games, World Cup, Hong Kong (most important) and the series itself.

It's really difficult to refrain from speaking out. Watching the brushcutter and dodging flying pebbles was frustratingly more interesting last Sunday.

If Hamilton doesn't show any positive stuff, then it could be said that the "cr@p has hit the fan".
