Monday, January 29, 2018

Update: 12:17PM A FAMILY is counting their lucky stars to be alive after the National Fire Authority (NFA) managed to save a fire from destroying three flats in Toorak early this morning.

During  the incident, a two bedroom flat was damaged which belonged to Mei Lanyon.
Ms Lanyon said their neighbors alerted them of the fire and she was lucky no one got injured.
" This is a family house. About 17 members live in the three flats. The flat on top caught fire and we are lucky it didn't spread," Ms Lanyon said.
Ms Lanyon said she could not determine the cost of the damage to the flat.
