SYDNEY 7s: Fiji downs Russia 24-0

Update: 5:34PM FIJI has managed a convincing win against Russia despite a scrappy first half of play in theirtheir second pool match at the HSBC World Sevens Series Sydney 7s.

In the first five minutes of the game, Fiji managed only three passes and nothing further until a break in the fifth minute to  Amenoni Nasilasila.

With two tries, one apiece to Nasilasila which he converted and another to Eroni Sau, Fiji led by 14-0 at half time.

Sau continued his winning try into the second half with a left hand pass to Josua Vakurunabili in the 4th minute to create the next try.

Jerry Tuwai sealed the deal for the Fijians with a try in the final play bring final score to 24-0
