Rose struggles with walking frame

RUBY Rose is enduring a torturous recovery from surgery as girlfriend Jessica Origliasso stands by her every step of the way.

The Pitch Perfect 3 star shocked her legion of fans earlier this week when she revealed a medical condition had left her temporarily in a wheelchair.

Slowly but surely Rose is recovering. She has left the wheelchair behind and is now getting around with the help of a walker, a cane and Origliasso.

She was pictured walking gingerly through Melrose Place with Origliasso and while her trademark smile was absent there was evidence Rose is on the mend after having spinal surgery in Beverly Hills.

However she has suffered an allergic reaction to the medicine given to her to aid her recovery.

Earlier, the 31-year-old Rose lifted the lid on a spine problem she had been dealing with after going in for the surgical procedure with the support of Veronica's singer Origliasso.

"Behind every strong female lead is another strong female lead," she wrote on Instagram.

"So, for the past few years (decade) I've been dealing with a spine issue.

"I am now recovering from a back procedure, but I do need to stay active, so before I get seen with my cane and wheelchair in public, I'd rather put it out there that I'm fine and going to be fine.

"What I need to know now is when I'm not wheeling around LA like a 102 year old, what movies, shows, books and video games do you suggest. I'm buying a switch."

Rose made headlines after it appeared that she picked a fight with her girlfriend's twin sister Lisa last month.
