EVERGREEN boxer Saven Singh is out settle the score against Junior Farzan Ali when they lock horns at the upcoming Canada Fiji Southern Boxing Promotions scheduled at Labasa's Subrail Park.

Singh said he was confident of beating Farzan as he wanted to win in front of his home fans.

He said he had been training hard for this fight as he wanted to showcase his talents to his loved ones.

"I lost to Farzan on points in our last fight and I want to settle the score next week," said Singh.

"I have been training hard for the past three months and I am confident if a win.

"I want to win for my home fans and nothing will stop me from fulfilling my aim."

Singh said he respected Farzan being a former champion.

"Farzan is an experienced and a champion boxer."

"I know he will be training hard for this fight because he wants to prove his worth after his two recent losses.

"I respect him but in the ring it will be a different story altogether."

Meanwhile, the people in the North will be treated to top-class boxing treat as some of the famous boxers being line-up next week's promotions.

Former South Pacific Games gold medallist Osea Nakanacagi will represent the northerners as he challenges Siliveni Nawai in the main bout.

Nakanacagi who lost in their first bout will be out for revenge as he wants to end Nawai's unbeaten run.

Canada Fiji Southern Boxing Promoter Simon Naushad says Nawai is the best boxer in Fiji at the moment.

He said the Mulomulo Boxing Club boxer had been consistent in winning all his nine professional fights.

"Nawai is probably the best boxer in Fiji at the moment having won his nine fights," said Naushad.
