Clean drains

WE are barely into the rainy season and its effects are already appearing. I would suggest that it becomes an annual event that the relevant authority clears the drains beforehand. Members of the public can assist through civic pride. Drains are not for dumping rubbish. At least we will reduce the devastation from flooding to some extent.

COP23 bash

IN some workplaces where the boss is elated with the work and achievement for the week and informs the staff that he will be shouting them lunch and drinks on Friday. I believe the celebration could have been done the same way.

Ability to tackle

IT may help if coaches/ managers base their selection on players' natural ability to tackle low which has been our weak point so far.

No excuse

WE went down in Dubai (Fiji men's sevens) because South Africa was simply a better team. No excuses, even lack of discipline, they are the team to beat apart from the ever improving Samoans. You can blame the ominous dinosaurs (trexes) among the spectators or the effects of climate change. Accept it!
