Blue is often associated with depth and stability symbolising trust, something that car enthusiast Mohammed Sharoof Shah strongly believes in when it comes to cars.

He trusts that his bay-side blue painted street legal Toyota Levin AE111 with a 4AGE engine with auto transmission would go a long way in taking him places.

Mr Shah, who is a bank officer by profession and like many car enthusiasts out there, spends his free time perfecting his ride that runs on 16-inch ray black wheels.

He boasts that his ride is the only bay-side blue painted Levin in Fiji which was done by Naushima Auto Performance and is a member of the High Rev Car Club in the est.

"I'm thankful to Edwin Nair for thinking that my car is capable enough to be part of their club," he said.

"The maximum speed that I have driven my car is 165kmph, but on full capacity I haven't tested the car on the race track yet. According to Naushad Moveen (director of Naushima Auto Performance) the odometer works and he had maxed it out to 180kmph.

"I bought the car two years back with a lot of work done, but like any car enthusiast we would want to add our own personal touches to it.

"As I gained ownership of the car I started to work on small things like spark plugs, exhaust pipes and manifolds. "

He said this year he painted the vehicle from kandy blue to bay-side colour with a front bumper lip installed.

"As a child I was very passionate about cars and back then owning a sports car was a big thing amongst car enthusiasts.

"I have always dreamt of owning a sports car and to work on it personally. I thank Allah swt (Almighty Lord) for giving me a chance to live my dream."

On modification works, he said he spent around $5000 inclusive of the car paint and other works being carried out on his ride. Modification requires a lot of patience and to me or should I say us, it's not only a car, but it's a way of life and you wouldn't want anything to happen to it.

"Modification works requires patience as sourcing of parts becomes very hard especially if you're looking for performance parts which need to be imported and it takes time."

His dream car is a R34 Nissan Skyline GTR with a bay-side blue colour.
