Netball test

FIJI Pearls coach Vicki Wilson is keeping an open mind in the final selection of the national squad to the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast and the Netball World Cup.

Wilson has continued training with the girls, focusing on conditioning and skills.

"We've been training for the past days and last night we trained from 6pm - 7.30pm. Today at 7am we will be at the Colo-I-Suva waterfalls finishing at 8:30 am." she said.

"We have a 10am session for those girls who are in school or University or those that don't work - from the development and Pearls squads.

"I am keeping a very open mind when it comes to the final 12 players selected.

"I want committed and fit players so those who attend training consistently (both conditioning and skills) place themselves in a very good position for selection.

"Yesterday training skill focus was on setting "screens" and the various scenarios that it could be done in a game."

Wilson has continued doing wonders with the girls as they try to work on their skills.
