All the best

All the best to our 7s warriors. Areh, go Fiji, go.

I can help

After reading yesterday's The Fiji Times, I am willing to help the Assistant Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation. You can come down to Lautoka bus station any time in the evening and I will personally show you where our senior citizens and homeless sleep at night. I already wrote before if I could help locate them but since you are asking for public help, I am willing to help locate them. It's very easy to find me in Lautoka. You can come to the Lautoka market master's office and get my number.

Respect them

IT is quite sad that the respect accorded to our elders and senior citizens in the past isn't being done today. We must respect those who were here before us and their contributions.

Dux query

I fail to understand why a Labasa family had to use the media to question why their daughter was not awarded the dux prize (FT 30/11) at their annual prizegiving ceremony. The simplest thing would be to just go and talk to the headteacher because the issue is between them and the school. Why go to the media for a "storm in a teacup" issue? You get me?

Senior citizens

The revelation by the Ministry of Women, Children, and Poverty Alleviation that a number of senior citizens are being pushed onto the streets (FT 30/11) is indeed "shocking" as Fred Wesley said in his editorial comment. Housing is a constitutional right. The ministry is doing its job. Where is the family support as the editor in chief said?

Dubai pick

Go Fiji, go. All the best in the Dubai Sevens.

From the new and little master Jerry to the workaholic Jasa to the bulky Kunavula to the new kids on the block Apenisa and Josh and to my favourite and comedian plus rugged Apisai.

Wise the dummy man to Amenoni the zig-zag specialist to Ravouvou the general to Stewart the rockman and to Nasoko to Sau the speedwing.

Go Fiji all the way to the tryline. Joka kece.

People determine

I believe in the end - it is always the people who determine, not the leadership.
