Stop littering

Tomasi Boginiso,Nepani, Nasinu
Friday, December 01, 2017

Despite the awareness, promotion or advertising to "stop littering" the public continues to litter the beaches, the roads, even municipal streets are full of rubbish.

Even despite the bins that are visible, they just seem to throw rubbish anywhere.

Good to see our Prime Minister leading the way in the media but it seems to be falling on deaf ears.

Take a look behind or around bus shelters between the Suva and Nausori corridor and you will see the littering.

Try stopping and having a look at the two bus shelters on the road leading to one of Fiji's main golfing resorts which the Government of Fiji spends a lot of money on — the littering which is unbearable.

The people of Fiji need to have their attitude adjusted to get rid of rubbish the proper way.
