YOU are what you eat, so choose wisely and enjoy eating a balanced meal says Shopper for the week Sharoneel Deo.

Mr Deo is a 27 year-old paralegal officer with the Fiji Roads Authority who resides in Navua and lives a healthy life as he enjoys outdoor activities like trekking, mountain climbing and fishing. "I place a lot of emphasis on healthy choices as they are very important to me and my family and I believe that good health and long life is a fruit of healthy food eaten regularly. My family strongly believes in an apple a day keeps the doctor away saying," Mr Deo said.

For grocery runs, Mr Deo shops every fortnight at any MH Supermarket because it's a one-stop shop for all his grocery needs.

"I enjoy shopping at MH Supermarkets because it's convenient and the staff members are friendly with customers," he said.

"If you don't want to overspend, always stick to your budget for a week, avoid impulsive buying and try to have a shopping list and do not divert away from it. It is important to compare prices before deciding where to shop when grocery shopping."

He spends an average of $300 per fortnight because it includes grocery shopping for two weeks.
