ONE of the world's leading wine brands has pledged its support to Style Fiji, the fashion event for charity which will be held this Saturday at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa in Nadi.

Mouton Cadet will partner with Victoria Wines.

It is the official wine in several exclusive and prestigious events, including the Cannes International Film Festival, the world's biggest golf tournament — the Ryder Cup and the world's biggest sailing event — the 35th America's Cup.

Mouton Cadet representative Alexis Petit-Gats said the French wine producer was delighted to join its Fijian partner, Victoria wines, to support Style Fiji 2017.

"Mouton Cadet is a new brand in Fiji, with a long history of involvement in the arts," she said.

"Mouton Cadet's creator, Baron Philippe de Rothschild was a poet, his daughter Baroness Philippine, an actress.

"Today the third generation carries the same passion for art and wine."

Victoria Wines managing director Liam Hindle said his company was proud to have supported Style Fiji for the past five years.

"We see that our continued support for this prestigious annual event adds value in many ways," he said.

"It provides the opportunity to showcase the extensive talent we are fortunate to have here in the design industry in Fiji, whilst also contributing towards very worthy charitable causes."
