Team Fiji

Team Fiji will consist of 201 athletes and officials who will compete in the 2017 Pacific Mini Games in Port Vila, Vanuatu. The first wave of teams will depart on Friday. The second wave of the teams will leave on December 9.

Beach volleyball: A lot would be on stake for the Beach Volleyball team as the Pacific Mini Games would also serve us a qualification to the 2018 Commonwealth Games which will be held in Gold Coast, Australia. Fiji will be represented by men's and women's team.

Team Fiji's mission: To reclaim the number one position as a sporting nation in the Pacific region. The mission also includes to back to number one in the pacific, be the good ambassador of Fiji and aspire to meet and exceed international standards.

Goal: To win the most gold medals at the Games and to travel together, return together, sober and sound- All athletes and officials.

Motto: The motto for the 2017 Pacific Mini Games is "Ignite the spirit within." Vanuatu will be celebrating the 37th year of their independence.
