All Stars win 2017 Pacific Cup

THE New Zealand Fiji Football Association Incorporated (NZFFI) All Stars took out the Pacific Cup at the Bill Mckinlay Park in Auckland , New Zealand yesterday.

The NZFFI All Stars defeated surprise finalist United States All Stars 2-1 in the final.

Adam Dickinson proved to be the star for the hosts nailing a penalty in the final minute.

Courts Inter District Championship winners Lautoka which was the favourites for the tournament went down to the United States All Stars 2-1 in the semi-final.

Playing on the astro turf proved to be difficult for the local teams nursing many injuries.
