Fijians want victory

THE Fiji Airways Flying Fijians want to end their November Tour with a win against Canada on Sunday.

Coach John McKee said Canada would come prepared to win against the Fijian players.

"The focus is on Canada," he said.

"We want to finish the tour well against Canada.

"We must finish the tour with a strong performance and team effort."

Fiji showed a brilliant performance against Ireland just losing to them by 23-20 which also marked their second loss on the tour after losing to Italy 19-10 in the first match two weeks ago.

McKee said Levani Botia and Nemani Nadolo would be the key players for them.

" It was a close encounter with Ireland only winning by three points," he said.

"It was disappointing to go down by three points and it shows the importance of everything we do in the matches at this level.

"Botia was outstanding in both attack and defence and Nadolo was always dangerous with ball in hand.

"Tuapati (Tuapati Talemaitoga) had one of his best games for Flying Fijians in terms of workrate and involvements in the game."

The match will be played in France.
