THE Westwood Boxing Promotion is making a comeback to hold their first boxing promotion after a lapse of two years.

Promoter Praneel Dass said he was planning the biggest boxing event in February next year.

"I was out of the country for two years, but my licence has been renewed and I also got my dates for the fight to be held on February 3 next year," he said.

"The Boxing Commission of Fiji has confirmed the dates.

"At this moment I can confirm the main event would be fought by Fiji's Sebastian Singh who will be defending the title he won last year and I am also looking for an overseas opponent for him."

Dass said he wanted to bring the fight to the people of the Central Division.

"My plan is to host the promotion in Suva since it will be a revival of boxing in Suva after eight years where the people did not get an opportunity to watch the boxing in the Capital City," he said.

"We are looking for a venue in Suva.

"I was training and building up boxing in New Zealand to get more experience and bring better fights to Fiji."
