Fiji first

Areki Dawai, Suva
Saturday, November 25, 2017

IF Fiji has to come first then others outside this island nation come second.

This does not mean to put aside co-operation with other supportive nations but just practically putting Fiji first would mean to prioritise the wellbeing of her citizens, making sure that the people are fairly served with basics of living.

I believe holding Fiji first would be making sure that rivers, bridges, good drainages, roads to and from communities are maintained at a better standard that should be accessible all year round.

I believe putting Fiji first would look into the fundamentals of basic education, making sure that students are provided better roof on their heads and not in tents.

Looking after and serving the people justly would basically put Fiji first.
