VODAFONE national soccer coach Christope Gamel is racing against time in trying to field the best combination for next week's game against Estonia.

With many of the top players failing to join the team in camp, the side again suffered another huge blow with injury to Rewa forward Epeli Saukuru.

Gamel said Saukuru did not train early this week because of the injury.

He said with the unavailability of some key players through work commitments and injury, he had no other option but to select his team from the players in camp which included five new boys.

"We are doing our best to field a good combination with the players we have and I believe it will not be a very strong team as expected," said Gamel.

"Some of the players selected are yet to join camp because of work while others are still injured.

"We also have Saukuru injured and was sidelined early this week but hopefully he will recover before the game."

Gamel said the side would also play without prolific goal scorer Roy Krishna.

"Roy is here on personal matter unfortunately but we cannot secure his services for the game.

"But we are working hard in camp and we will work with what we have."

Some of the top players likely to feature in the starting line-up are Christopher Wasasala, Dave Radregai, Kolinio Sivoki, Kavaia Rawaqa, Zibraz Sahib, Saula Waqa, Setareki Hughes and Remuera Tekiata to name a few.

The game will be held at the ANZ national stadium next weekend.
