Sleepy drivers

Researchers in California have concluded that more accidents are caused by sleepy drivers compared with drunk drivers.

Minimum wage

I believe Fiji's minimum wage is grossly inadequate considering the high cost of living these days, especially in urban areas.

Low income workers deserve more than what is now offered and they are entitled to a decent standard of living. Too many are struggling to make ends meet.

I believe it is reasonable to raise the minimum wage and that it be indexed according to the cost of living annually.

Fair is fair.

Miss World Fiji

Now isn't Nanise Rainima, Miss World Fiji 2017, a real face and representative of Fiji.

Vinaka Nanise. God bless you.

By the way, .... okay never mind.

Silent mode

I believe being on silent mode is the most holistic, ever- blooming method for a person to be at peace with one's self.

Since we are approaching the festive season, I believe we definitely need to do a time out of our busy schedule and be on silent mode. Just to re-boost one's self for the new year.

Oceania 7s

As we approach the Oceania 7s championship, I wonder which side God will favour? (FT 9/11).

Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, and Tonga are also staunch Christians and they must have also sought the Lord's guidance.

God helps those who help themselves someone said.

True beauty

We are so often too preoccupied with how beautiful and how handsome we are.

And we often think that our own worth is based on how we look. So if we look good, then we are valuable. If we have this kind of attitude, then definitely we have been mis-directed.

True beauty is not in the face, people. It is a light in the heart!

Fijian identity

Bravo and well done to the High Commissioner in Australia for reminding the players of their Fijian identity.
