THE Naitasiri Rugby Union plans to begin its club competition for the coming season on November 18 in a quest to maximise game time for players.

President Ratu Filimoni Vuki Naulivou said the union had decided to review zonal club competition in the Naitasiri East, West, South and North and Samabula zone.

"This also maximises and increases our provincial team player base for the upcoming Skipper Cup and HFC Bank Farebrother Sullivan Trophy competitions," Ratu Naulivou said.

He said the decisions were made during the their annual general meeting (AGM) last Friday.

Ratu Naulivou said: "The only change is Aseri Radrodro who replaced Marika Luveniyali as chairman while Nimilote Naisorotabua retains his secretary role, Eroni Sauvakacolo was re-elected as treasurer."

He said they would be striving in realigning themselves with and supporting the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) initiative.

Former Flying Fijian Koli Sewabu is the coach.
