Force sets plan

CAPITAL Force netball team will be fielding more young players in the Digicel Punjas Netball Super League 2017 which will start on Saturday.

Capital Force president Vasiti Vugakoto said she was confident of winning the title this year.

"We have started preparations for the league and we are very much confident of winning the league again," Vugakoto said.

"It is a tough competition.

"We have the cream of the players in the team which played in the under-20 competition and we are expecting a good competition from them."

The competition will be played over the next five weeks where teams such as Western Zeniths from Latuoka, Stallion Starlets from Nadroga, Nasinu's Satellite Divas and Central Swifts from Tailevu will be battling for the top prize.

"Most of the Suva players are in the Capital Force team for the competition with players such as Afa Rusivakula and Lydia Panapasa in the team," she added.

"It has been a while since the players played together, but we should do well."

Capital Force is on bye in round one of the competition which will be played at Vodafone Arena in Suva.
