For Muscle Maintenance

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein BCAA acronym "Branched Chained Amino Acids". BCAA's three chained essential amino acids are commonly known as Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine. Essential amino acids cannot be synthesised by the human body and therefore must be ingested in food and through supplementations.

Leucine is known to stimulate and promotes muscle protein synthesis, meaning that it helps build muscles quicker and more efficiently.

Isoleucine increases glucose uptake in the muscles and helps turn it into energy. Lastly Valine, which has a stimulant effect, is needed for muscles metabolism, tissue repair and the maintenance of proper nitrogen balance in the body.

It is also known to convert to glucose within the body.

Additionally, branched chain amino acids are the only chained amino acids that are not degraded in the liver like all the other amino acids. All other amino acids are regulated by the stomach and the liver before it is circulated elsewhere in the body.

All other amino acids are regulated by the gut and the liver before it is circulated elsewhere in the body. Therefore it is obvious that leucine, Isoleucine and Valine are important for athletes since they're closely tied to muscle growth and energy production in the body.

Directions and Recommended Use:

Mix 5g (1 scoop) with 200ml of water, either before, during, or after your workout to help trigger protein synthesis, reduce muscle soreness and enhance strength gains.

On non-training days, take one serve (5g) with 200ml water first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. Store in a cool and dry place, below 30ÂșC. Discard contents three months after opening.
