Clean our back yard

Satish Chand, Martintar Rd, Nadi
Saturday, November 04, 2017

Yes, can we clean up our back yard then go telling the world what to do?

Mr Wara's sentiments in The Fiji Times on November 2 is very relevant.

I go one step further in asking the Government, what action will it take against the developers who have destroyed our most prestigious vegetation (tiri) mangrove?

In recent times, hectares of mangrove have been destroyed and replaced with soil poisoned with insecticide and pesticide used in farms.

Will this not affect our climate change campaign? Come on Fiji, do what we are supposed to do.

We can't have the cake and eat it too.
