LTA service

Top marks to LTA Lautoka.

It's been a year since I visited their office and oh what a change.

Let me start from the beginning.

I arrived at the office and the security officer tells me to take a seat because the official opening time was 08:15am.

08:15, I go to take a ticket and was told to go to the inspection office where all of what I needed would be done. Wowza!

I go to the inspection office and when it was my turn I paid the necessary fees and was told to take a seat outside and the vehicle inspection officers would call the vehicle registration number. Yedow!

My vehicle number was called together with four others and we lined up next to the ramp.

When it was my turn I drove on to the ramp and was asked to do the necessary and the chap tells me to park away from the ramp while he inspected the other vehicles.

One by one he test drives the vehicles and then with a smile the chap tells us to go to the office and wait for him.

Seven minutes I waited and guess what, the chap apologised for making me wait.

Oo la la, too good man!

The necessary paperwork is done I pay the fees and within one hour my vehicle is passed and I went away a happy car owner.

You are number one, with that kind of service I want to take my other car to be checked because of the good service.

Hehe, but I'll wait of the expiry of the wheel tax.

Thank you LTA you have come a long way from the days of ... OK let me leave it there.
