BODY builder Jekesoni 'Superman' Yanuyanudrua won a gold medal in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness' South Pacific Oceania Championship on Sunday.

The competition was held at Cronulla League's Club in Sydney, Australia. Yanuyanudrua won a gold medal in the junior men's category and settled for a silver medal in the under 100 kilogram category.

Inoke Ligairi also settled for a silver medal in the U90 category while Zynal Zimron Reddy won a gold medal in the junior men's physique category.

IFBF Fiji acting president John Lee said he was happy with the performance of the body builders.

"Zynal won the junior grade and his future looks bright as it was his first outing in the international scene whereas Jekesoni and Inoke have very good future ahead of them," Lee said.

"Jekesoni won his first gold medal when I took him to the South Pacific Bodybuilding Championship in Tonga in 2013.

"We will now be preparing for the next championship which will be held in Cook Islands next year and we are looking forward to take more body builders."
