Bati stuns, Drua stunned

The Fiji Bati flexed its muscles with a thumping 58-12 win over USA in the RLWC and in the process, Hayne became the equal greatest try-scorer in RLWC history as Fiji sent a warning to the heavyweights competing at the RLWC.

While Fiji was unbelievable and showed team unity and bonding, the injury to Kane Evans would be a worry for coach Potter.

The Bati did not lack vocal support and lived up to expectations.

On attack we were ferocious and entertaining while on defence our boys stood as a team.

As we look forward to the match against Wales, it is important that our boys remain focused on the task.

On a whole, the Bati deserves accolades for doing well and starting the 2017 RLWC on a high note.

On the other hand, the Drua side was stunned by Sydney Rays led by towering James Brown.

Over confidence, poor handling, lack of patience and communication and poor discipline haunted the Drua side as we finished third on the NRC and lost valuable points at home.

Let's regroup and focus on the semis.

Come on boys, we can do much better than what we did on Saturday.
