Update: 3:36PM POLICE are now on the hunt for the five masked men and their driver who robbed the Bank South Pacific's Samabula branch in Suva at 1.45pm today.

The stolen company vehicle was found abandoned at Brewster St at Toorak a few minutes ago.

Forensics are at the scene, cordoning off the area to dust for prints and other evidence.

Acting Chief of Operations Rusiate Tudravu said they believed a pick-up was arranged at Toorak because their dogs were not able to trace any further.

He said they are now trying to ascertain whether the robbery was linked to the five escapees from the Naboro medium correction facility who are at large.
