LUSIANA Rogoimuri has been going through some last minute preparations with her coach Sainiana Tukana as they get ready to leave for the 2012 London Paralympic Games.

The duo will continue their training in Suva until they leave the country in the next two weeks.

Paralymics sports development officer Saimoni Nainoca said Rogoimuri and Tukana had been working hard putting the finishing touches to their preparation.

Nainoca said Rogoimuri and Tukana would fly out on August 13 for Brisbane where they would join the other team members Iliesa Delana and Freddy Fatiaki.

"Delana and Fatiaki are currently training in Brisbane and will team up with Rogoimuri and Tukana when they arrive there next week," Nainoca said.

"The Fiji Paralympics team will join the Australian and other Pacific teams for the trip to London."

Rogoimuri will represent Fiji in the T36 100 and 200 metre events.

Coach Tukana said Rogoimuri had been actively competing in athletics for the past five years.

Rogoimuri qualified for her events after competing in the Paralympic World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand last year.

Delana will compete in the high jump F42 category.

Delana booked his ticket to London 2012 Paralympic Games after also competing at the qualifying event in New Zealand.

At that competition Delana cleared the bar at 1.73m, winning the silver medal.

His outstanding performance earned him an A standard Paralympic Qualification.
